Ren x East foregrounded relationality and cross-cultural dialogue through the concept of ren (仁), emphasising care, interconnectedness, and shared human experience. Rosfelder-Leu’s practice resonated with these concerns, as gestural layering and erasure engaged processes of emergence, absence, and transformation. The presented works contributed to the exhibition’s focus on community and exchange, situating process-based abstraction within a broader dialogue between East Asian aesthetics and contemporary global practices.
